周五（4月26日），安省宣布立刻暫停僱主擔保類別，包括海外員工和國際留學生。新生代有不少客戶已經符合條件，其中不乏有工簽快要到期的申請人，現在只能等待項目重開或者換別的項目。
暫停的原因是“今年年初這兩個類別申請的顯著增加”，政府預計會在“2019年晚些時候重開”，不過這種承諾不一定能信，因為去年4月暫停碩士後也說會在2018年晚些時候重開，但直到今年3月才勉強收了300多個申請，下次碩士開放還不確定是什麼時候。
如果重開的時候政策依然不變，預計會和碩士一樣演化成一個搶名額的項目，新生代目前可以簽約這兩個類別等待重開和搶名額的客戶。
心疼一下在國內聽信某些機構花了幾十萬買安省僱主的客戶……

Intake Pause for the Employer Job Offer: International Student and Foreign Worker Streams
Please note that the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) is pausing intake to both the Employer Job Offer: International Student Stream and Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream as of April 26, 2019. No new applications can be submitted as of this date.
These streams have seen a significant increase in applications in 2019 making it necessary to pause intake to the streams due to Ontario’s limited nomination allocation from the Federal government.
The OINP will continue to monitor the intake of applications across all streams and will determine when these streams can be reopened at a later date in 2019.
